Fabulous clean hotel and staff was welcoming. The room was exceptionally clean and well-designed with shared bathroom, a four poster bed, as for instance and the location was magnificent. The breakfast was tasty and amazing, thoroughly enjoyed everything. All in all our stay was nice, no complaint.

We loved the friendly staff. Ahmed in particular went out of his way to help us and get us the best deals. Marikam was lovely and really helpful too. The riad is in a great location in the medina as well and excellent value for money
It was a bit damp - but I think everywhere is a bit damp in essaouira. The rooms with external windows are best for helping with this.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this charming B&B. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the owner who warmly welcomed me and provided me with a helpful map of the area. The room was incredibly comfortable, and I loved the cozy atmosphere. The breakfast spread in the morning was absolutely amazing, with a variety of delicious pancakes, bread, pastries, and fresh coffee. What I appreciated most was the communal table, where I got to meet and chat with other guests, sharing our experiences in Morocco. The location of the B&B was perfect, right in the center of the medina, making it easy to explore. Despite some previous reviews mentioning a shared bathroom, I found it clean and only shared with one other room. I had an incredible experience at Dar Latigeo B&B and would highly recommend it.

rooms, free internet, breakfast included, stuff, location
all bathrooms are shared ( two rooms on one floor share one bathroom ) and some bathrooms are not so good, on web site is written that rooms have private bathrooms and toilets

The staff was very friendly and helpful. It seems to be a family-run hotel and the whole family was as nice as can be. It's conveniently located in Essaouira and was a great place to spend a night.
A small thing, but the shower in the bathroom (which we shared with another room) didn't drain well, so the whole bathroom ended up with a smell of stale water. Not a huge deal, but not terribly pleasant.

The location is very comfortable and the decor is nice. The host upon arrival was excellent. The brekfast included bread, coffee, croissants, and tea on request. The rooftop terrace was like a dream.

This hotel is situated in the centre of medina, so you can easily reach any place in the town. The owner is very nice and hospitable man, funny and friendly, willing to answer any questions. We liked the place so much that we stayed longer than we had planned.

The room was extremely spacious with a very comfy bed and with shared bathroom. The location in a quiet area was great and easy and there were a market and cheap shops nearby.

The hotel is located right in the heart of the city, offering easy accessibility to all famous spots and even a walk to the Supra bus station. Despite being hidden down a street that is hard to find, it provides a calm and peaceful environment.
Though the hotel has a great reputation for cleanliness, the shared bathroom may not be ideal for some guests, that being said, this can be a common setting in most budget-friendly riads.

Very friendly host. Great location
I think the rooms with the shared bathrooms are better. But was still good.

We enjoyed our stay at Dar Latigeo very much. We stayed there for 6 nights, and after that it already felt like home, thanks to the lovely owners and staff. The breakfast is delicious and the rooms are stylish and comfortable. We stayed in the Albatros room, which has a beautiful four-poster bed. The owner, George, is really nice, always in a good mood and knows a lot about the city and its culture. For good food, eat at the hotel or ask George for some good restaurants.
Untill we arrived we didn't know we would have a shared bathroom.
